The Breakup of the United States
Posted by Rev. Bill on Jan 07, 2009 06:17

Arthur Schlesinger in his book, The Dis-uniting of America, discusses the possibilites of such an outcome because of what he labels as the "Balkanization" of American. He also outlines the fact that our education system has failed to inculcate our historic values and the values of our nation as well as making clear our founding history. According to Schlesinger, this lack of maintaining our identity to successive generations will result in the "dis-uniting" of our nation.

I do not believe our nation will break apart from an outside influence, economic influence, or any outside catalyst. If our nation fails to maintain its sovereignty or its geographical integrity it will be because we, as a people, let it happen.

It is revealing to see just what the outside world is hoping for, when this Russian's "false prophecy" gets so much attention and consideration. The United States of America is mentioned in Bible Prophecy under the title "all nations". "All nations" means "ALL nations", that means the United States too. We will join in the collective military effort against Christ upon His return to set up His millenial reign.

break up?
Posted by 1970drew on Jan 07, 2009 04:36

Ofcourse. We have people talking about Socialism. We have other people saying "Take under God off coins and pledges". This Nation was created under men and women who believed in God. I despise the athiest voices. It's about time the majority of this nation spoke up against all that is causing this break up. Yes gay is bad. Yes God should be in our childrens thoughts and prayers. Yes, we should have one language, ENGLISH. Come on people. Stop being so sensitive. Stop being so politically correct. I'm ready to puke already. Come together as one not so perfect union. There is only one perfect thing on earth and it takes faith to believe in it.

BREAKUP OF THE U.S.

I didn't know they had "prophets" in mostly atheist Russia.

Men can predict whatever they want. IT'S GOD WHO DECIDES THE DESTINY OF NATIONS, and His predictions for Russia, according to Ezekiel 38 and 39, aren't very good.

If you want prophetic truth, I recommend

Secession
Posted by angry white guy on Jan 02, 2009 09:03

This once great Republic has become a corrupt democracy. The electorate no longer represents the people that elected them and is more interested in doing what they and the globalist want. I would prefer secession to civil war but when it really comes down to it, it doesn't matter. I believe that the Declaration of Independence said it best,"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security." What Jefferson said is true," The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." A Republic is a nation of law and Jefferson was foretelling the future when he said " A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine." We in this country are not free and have not been for sometime now. Our congress and judiciary are working to enslave us and turn us over to the globalist. The Constitution means nothing anymore, just look at the attitude toward the eligibility of obama for president or Hilary as secretary of state. Blatantly unconstitutional but nobody seems to care. Well welcome to servitude. Me, I am going the Freedom route.

I do see the USA in a state of decline. A civil war, in my opinion, would not be catastrophic because I do not believe that our hard working young men in the military will turn on we the people. They have been trained to preserve freedom....for themselves...and us.

Still....a big mess is on the horizon and it is predicted in the Bible. I believe...the worst is yet to come.

sadly it seems as if many Americans have no problem with Socialism. I am in mourning for our country, because I see the Constitution dying, and I don't know how to revive it. I also believe another civil war is probably our only hope

Us Stopped Being US

I am glad to see the awareness represented in this poll. I am encouraged to feel that there are enough of us out there who love and are willing to defend The Constitution to make a difference some way somehow.

Break up *will* happen
Posted by sg359807 on Dec 31, 2008 14:40

And what is a Tory? Good God! What is he? I should not be afraid to go with a hundred Whigs against a thousand Tories, were they to attempt to get into arms. Every Tory is a coward; for servile, slavish, self-interested fear is the foundation of Toryism; and a man under such influence, though he may be cruel, never can be brave.

But, before the line of irrecoverable separation be drawn between us, let us reason the matter together: Your conduct is an invitation to the enemy, yet not one in a thousand of you has heart enough to join him.

America the Great Babylon will Burn
Posted by on Dec 31, 2008 13:10

To Be Edited by Mikaia, thank you.

America’s future is brief and one of horror. Will there be a civil war? I do not know. I do know, however, that the government is wholly prepared for any kind of uprising by her citizens and would welcome such an event. Without a doubt, a planned situation shall occur that would bring the US under martial law. Whether it is an uprising for whatever reason, a natural disaster, a “terrorist attack”, or an economic failure, that would ensure Martial Law I do not know. Preparation for dictatorship and extermination of Americans has been plotted for decades. The death camps are waiting. The goal is a Global One World Government, and that would include massive extermination, which the US Government plans to head.

Am I a conspiracy theorist? No, I am a Bible believer and a student of Bible prophecy. America is Mystery Babylon the Great that burns in one hour, no life remains. Babylon was born with the heritage of God, but in the End would turn totally demonic. Babylon will slay the saints [Christians]. Babylon would exterminate her people. America’s end will be as Sodom and Gomorrah. This is God’s judgment. It is written, I will give her a double portion for her sins are great. America’s sins are an abomination; her land is covered in the blood of the unborn babies, her homosexuals are unrestrained in their lusts, and her children have been robbed of their innocence.

America’s fate is ordained. Therefore, pray without ceasing. This world and everything in it will soon pass away. Soon the Last Trumpet will sound and the Lord Jesus shall return in Power and Glory and destroy the wicked. The time of mercy will soon be over, then it will only be judgment.

“The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.”

If the US does break up it will be because many of us will never accept socialism. I can see a split between those who think the government should take care of their every need and those who believe that a free economy is the way to go. If that happens the socialists will eventually fall because they will only have the sluggards while the rest of us will be successful because we are willing to work hard. I believe that will be the main reason for a civil war or split.
